Yes, glassblowing is safe when proper safety protocols are followed. At our studio, we prioritize your safety by providing all necessary protective equipment and clear, step-by-step instructions. Our experienced instructors will be with you throughout the process to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

Do I need to have any previous experience to try glassblowing?

No prior experience is needed! Our classes are designed for beginners and first-timers. Our skilled instructors will guide you through each step, ensuring you understand the process and feel comfortable working with the materials.

I'm not artsy or skilled, can I still do this?

Absolutely! Glassblowing is for everyone, regardless of artistic ability or skill level. Our classes are structured to accommodate all levels of experience, and our instructors are there to help you create a beautiful piece of art, even if you’ve never done anything like this before.

What should I wear to a glassblowing class?

For safety reasons, we recommend wearing short sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes. No jewelry or ornaments that may hang or snag. Natural fibers like cotton are best, as synthetic materials can melt. We’ll provide safety glasses and other necessary protective gear.

How long is a typical glassblowing class?

Our glassblowing classes typically last about 1-3 hours, depending on the specific project and class size. This gives you enough time to learn the basics, create your piece, and enjoy the experience without feeling rushed.

Can I take my finished piece home with me?

Yes, you can take your finished piece home! However, glass pieces need to be annealed (cooled down slowly) to ensure they are strong and safe. This process can take several hours to a day, so depending on the size of the pieces you may need to pick up your piece the next day or we can arrange to have it shipped to you.

Can I book a private class or a group session?

Yes, we offer private classes and group sessions for special occasions, corporate events, and parties. Please contact us directly to discuss your needs and schedule a private session.

Is there an age limit for participating in a glassblowing class?

Our classes are generally suitable for ages 12 and up. However, we require participants under the age of 18 to be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We also offer special classes for younger participants—please inquire for more details.

How do I book a class?

You can book a class directly through our website by selecting the date and time that works best for you. Payment can be made online to secure your spot. If you have any questions or need assistance with booking, feel free to contact us.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule my class?

We understand that plans can change. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 48 hours in advance to avoid any cancellation fees. We will do our best to accommodate your needs and find a new time that works for you.
